NYC & Company, New York City’s official destination marketing organization, today announced its win over four global contenders for Best Travel Website in the 21st Annual Webby Awards. The accolade—considered the “Internet's highest honor”—was awarded by members of the International Academy of Digital Arts and Sciences, which hosts the yearly event to recognize excellence in websites, film & video, advertising, media & PR, mobile sites & apps, social and podcasts & digital audio. This is NYC & Company’s third Webby Award for its website, NYCgo.com, which showcases New York City’s five boroughs as a vibrant travel destination. The organization was also named an honoree in this year’s Mobile Sites & Apps: Travel category.
