In October more than 1 million overnight stays were made in Stockholm. It is a 10 % increase compared to the same month last year. The first ten months surpass last year's result. More than 10 million overnight stays were made in Stockholm County, which is a total increase of 8 % and All-time-high.
During the year as a whole, the growth rate has been higher foreign visitors (+11 %) compared to domestic (+6%). The rise in October is mainly due to an increas for leisure visitors to the county's hotels and the average price of a rented room was slightly lower than last year.
