Schiphol donates €222,500 to UNICEF

Amsterdam Airport Schiphol collected €165,000 in passenger donations at the airport’s collection points in 2014. The proceeds are designated to fund the work of UNICEF, the United Nations organisation that works to protect the rights of children. In 2014, employees of Schiphol Group collected €57,500 through initiatives they organised on behalf of UNICEF.
Madelon Cabooter, Partnerships Manager of UNICEF Nederland, accepted the cheque from Schiphol Group’s Director for Corporate Development, Peter van Laarhoven.

Peter van Laarhoven: ‘A total of €222,500 was collected for UNICEF last year, an achievement to be proud of. We are immensely grateful to the passengers at Schiphol for this generous gift. And the dedication Schiphol Group staff have shown for UNICEF also makes me proud.’
