Up to 80 sailing vessels from across the globe are to anchor in Belfast this July (2 – 5) for a mega maritime festival to mark the start of the international Tall Ships Race 2015.
Around 1 million people are expected to witness the spectacle in the town that built the Titanic.
The ships will be berthed in and around Belfast Harbour and the Titanic Quarter area, right next to Titanic Belfast, the world’s largest museum dedicated to the legendary luxury liner, and a host of other Titanic and maritime attractions.
The ships will arrive on Thursday 2 July and a parade of up to 1,000 crew members will take place on the Friday.
